Zendee Rose Tenerefe, the girl who became a YouTube sensation after someone took a video of her while singing “And I Am Telling You” in SM Megamall (Philippines) using a videoke microphone, has been invited to audition in The Voice Season 3.
Zendee Rose, also known as “Random Girl in SM Megamall,” became a household name after her YouTube video went viral. Thanks to the uploaded video on YouTube, Zendee has appeared on GMA programs, such as Party Pilipinas and Manny Many Prizes. She was also invited by no less than Ellen DeGeneres to appear on her talk show “Ellen.”
Last Saturday, September 1, after her performance in Manny Many Prizes, co-host Paulo Contis surprised her with another good news. Impressed by her voice, Carson Daly, the host of the American version of The Voice, on NBC, invited her to audition in season 3 of the hit reality singing competition “The Voice” in front of mentor-judges Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton.Labels: Local News
