American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez is slated to sing for US President Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday, September 5 (Thursday, Manila time).
Her coming appearance was confirmed by Jessica Sanchez herself on her Twitter account. The 17-year-old singer tweeted about her coming performance, saying “I might not be old enough to vote, but I’m so honored and excited to perform at @Barack Obama’s big party in Charlotte next week #DNC2012!”
Sanchez is at the tailend of the “American Idol” tour that will conclude in Manila on September 21, 2013.
