"American Idol" Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez has started recording her debut album under Interscope Records.
In her Twitter account, the Filipino-Mexican-American singer said she is already at the studio recording for the new album.
"At the stuuuuudio recording some amazing tracks for the upcoming album ;) <3," she tweeted.
She also tweeted a picture of her and "Idol" Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips.
Sanchez has kept busy after nearly winning the top-rated talent competition last month. She sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight last June 5, and again in Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder.
She is also in talks for a possible recurring role in the hit TV show "Glee" but not before joining the rest of the Top 10 for the "American Idol" tour.
