The 'Hunger Games' Wins Big at the 2013 People's Choice Awards



The 'Hunger Games’ devoured the competition at the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 9, taking home a total of five trophies.

The movie is taking over as the hottest franchise in Hollywood, now that the Twilight movie has come to an end. This was proven at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards, when the movie took home five trophies, declaring the franchise as the top victor of the night!

The Hunger Games was named favorite movie, action movie, movie franchise, and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth won for favorite on-screen chemistry. Jennifer Lawrence also won favorite movie actress and "face of heroism."
